The breakfast was excellent and the staff were kind. The room itself was tidy and absolutely fantastic and had a breathtaking view. The location was great and brilliant, at a moderate distance from The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction. Besides, it was just next door to the lakes and shops and restaurants.

Comfortable beds and lovely Bay windows. Helpful hosts provided great local recommendations. Exceptional amenities including bottled water, tea, coffee, robes, and homemade flapjacks. Highly recommended for a delightful stay in the Lake District.

Liked our trip in this wonderful old hotel. The venue had a magnificent position, close to all the attractions. And it was also short walk to Easy to get to from Windermere Station, the lakes and both Bowness.

fir trees was even better than our previous stay in windermere. the lovely people, amazing breakfast, and ample amenities made our trip unforgettable. we loved being able to relax in their beautiful garden and the location was perfect - quiet yet close to shops and restaurants. couldn't have asked for a better experience.
